Care Under Immigration Rule

Illustrations created for The New Yorker article “What a Pediatrician Can Do for a Child Seeking Asylum — and What She Can’t” by Rachel Pearson. The work responds to the article’s examination of how medical professionals navigate care within harsh immigration decisions, and the difficult conversations surrounding refugee and immigrant families seeking a better future in the United States. Developed as an academic project for an Editorial Illustration class at Seneca College.
