Toronto Times | Seasons Issue

Illustration created for the cover of Toronto Times' Seasons Issue, a fictional magazine developed in the Editorial Illustration class at Seneca College.

The cover visually contrasts Toronto’s harsh winter snow with the warm, cinematic sunsets of summer. Iconic elements like the CN Tower and TTC signs were strategically incorporated for immediate recognition. The composition uses juxtaposition to create a dynamic contrast between the seasons while maintaining overall harmony and symmetry.

An animated version of the illustration was also developed to further explore the seasonal transitions and bring the cover to life.
